Biography
Brett Coady is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City. While in college he studied a premed curriculum and holds a bachelors degree in both Philosophy and Environmental Studies. Strangely, instead of pursuing a career in medicine, Brett realized his true calling was of a slightly different artform–acting. He idealizes that there are inumerable ways to make a significant contribution to society, for in the end, true talent is meant to serve the benefit of others. Above all, Brett’s ultimate intentions are to serve humanity and improve the state of the human condition.
Interestingly enough, Brett is related to the playwright “Bertolt Brecht” through the lineage of his mother Kathryn Coady-Brecht. Brecht is considered to be one of the most influential playwrights of the 20th Century, and is perhaps most well known for his famous musical “The Threepenny Opera,” among many others.
For artistic inspiration, Brett accredits Robert DeNiro, Michael Caine, Christian Bale, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
In his free time, Brett enjoys downhill skiing, sailing, tennis, playing piano, traveling the world, rollerblading, and spending time with the company of his friends and family. He was raised in the Midwest, and now resides in Manhattan.
